The GV1 pipe distributor is from the design point of view the most simple and therefore the most cost-effective option for gas / vapor introduction. The inlet pipe is either perforated or slit on the underside or executed as an open pipe section. The gas exits downwards from the orifices, is deflected and flows into the packed bed.
