The liquid distributor DT W is an orifice type distributor with holed troughs that are fed by a parting box. This parting box is located above the troughs and usually fed by a feed-pipe. Distributors of this type are usually installed in columns with a diameter > 300mm. The distributor is used for liquid velocities between 5 m³/m²h and 80 m³/m²h. Because of its high number of chimneys the distributor can be used for gas capacity factors > 2.5 Pa^0.5. The standard loading range of the distributor is 2:1.
