RALU®MER SPE

RALU®MER  SPE is a methacrylic acid based monomer.The molecule contains a stable sulfobetainic group. Because of this betainic group RALU® MER  SPE is stable against pH value changes in a wide range. Furthermore RALU® MER  SPE forms no precipitation with charged molecules or ions. RALU® MER  SPE is mainly used to manufacture hydrogels, adhesives and paints by stabilising acrylic dispersions.

Because of the betainic structure RALU® MER  SPE acts as inhibitor against bacteria and protein films.
