The flashbox FB 2 is especially designed for column diameters < 1200 mm and two-phase feed-streams with large gas portions. The flashbox FB 2 consists of a vertically arranged cylindrical channel from witch the gas exits through the top and the liquid through a downcomer shaft to the distributor located below.
